      In this symposium Prof. Le Roux will discuss the pathognomonic symptoms of obesity and neuronal networks involved in  hunger and satiety. Following this, Prof. Dicker will present the current misalignment in obesity care: ACTION IO study results, which explores the perceptions and reality of obesity care in patients living with obesity and the physicians who treat them. This will be followed by Prof. Kaplan who will present the current evidence on the role of pharmacotherapy in bariatric surgery patients.
